Baseball Recap: Mt. Hope Takes a Loss

Mt. Hope fell victim to Barrington and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 1-0. The loss leaves the Huskies still looking for their first win of the season.

Mt. Hope saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Trace Dubois, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Mt. Hope's defeat dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Barrington, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Mt. Hope will face off against Cumberland at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Barrington, they will head out to take on Narragansett at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
