Basketball Recap: Foothill Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Foothill lost against Rosamond back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Trojans fell 37-26 to the Roadrunners.

When it comes to explaining why Foothill lost, don't look at Marihya Portis. Despite the final result, she posted seven points and eight boards. Portis is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last 29 games she's played dating back to last season.

Rosamond's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Georgia Lizotte, who had ten points and five steals. That's the most steals Lizotte has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Nadiyah Baladez, who put up seven points and five steals.

Foothill's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Foothill will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Sierra at 5:30 p.m. on December 1. As for Rosamond, they have already played their next matchup, a 63-44 defeat against Eastside on the 20th.
