Langston Hughes made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Douglas County, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Langston Hughes Panthers never let the Douglas County Tigers get on the board and left with a 10-0 win on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Panthers have posted since February 23, 2024.

Ladanian Brock was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. What's more, he posted two hits, the most he's had since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Salah Mckee, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases.

Langston Hughes was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .450. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .360 or higher in three consecutive matchups.

Langston Hughes' record now sits at 2-3. As for Douglas County, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-4.
