Football Recap: Pleasant Ridge Starts Season with Defeat at Home

Pleasant Ridge unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 38-17 to the Oskaloosa Bears on Friday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Rams of the 26-14 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Coming up, Pleasant Ridge will be playing at home against Doniphan West at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Rams' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Oskaloosa, they will square off against Valley Falls at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
