Saline has gone a perfect 10-0 against Huron recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Hornets will venture away from home to square off against the River Rats at 7:00 p.m. Saline knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 31 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Huron likes a good challenge.

Saline's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They breezed past Monroe to the tune of 42-0. The result was nothing new for the Hornets, who have now won four games by 27 points or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, the third road contest was the charm for Huron, as they earned their first away victory of the season. They came out on top against Pioneer by a score of 21-14 on Friday. Surprisingly, this marked the River Rats' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Saline pushed their record up to 5-0 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 9.3 points on average over those games. As for Huron, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Everything came up roses for Saline against Huron when the teams last played back in September of 2024, as the squad secured a 48-0 win. Will the Hornets repeat their success, or do the River Rats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
