Sinton has gone 8-2 against Rockport-Fulton recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. Sinton will welcome Rockport-Fulton at 7:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Sinton's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Robstown 45-0. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Pirates' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 201st, while the Cottonpickers are ranked 841st).

Mykha Green was his usual excellent self, rushing for 135 yards and four scores on only 12 carries. Green is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 135 every time he's taken the field this season. Another player making a difference was Quincy Bess, who rushed for 68 yards and one TD.
Sinton didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Robstown to a completion percentage of just 33.3%. The Pirates have been improving in that area: they had allowed a completion percentage of 0.59 earlier this season, but they've only allowed one of 0.59 in their last three games.
Meanwhile, Rockport-Fulton waltzed into their contest two weeks ago with three straight wins... but they left with four. Everything went their way against the Cottonpickers as they made off with a 33-12 victory. Rockport-Fulton's win was all the more impressive since the Cottonpickers were averaging only 14.13 points allowed on the season.
Sinton better keep an eye on Traey Alvarado. He was instrumental in Rockport-Fulton's win, rushing for 121 yards and one touchdown while picking up 7.6 yards per carry. Alvarado showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 52 yards. Jaxon Keown was another key player, rushing for 51 yards and one score.
Rockport-Fulton didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Reid Snyder and Ford Anderson. Anderson got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Sinton's victory bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Rockport-Fulton, their win bumped their record up to 6-3.
Friday's matchup might be decided on the ground. Sinton has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 323.8 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Rockport-Fulton struggles in that department as they've been averaging 316 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's game turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Everything went Sinton's way against Rockport-Fulton when the teams last played back in November of 2024, as Sinton made off with a 32-10 victory. Does Sinton have another victory up their sleeve, or will Rockport-Fulton turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
