Softball Recap: East Hall Takes a Loss

East Hall fell victim to Monroe Area and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 14-0 to the Purple Hurricanes. The Vikings haven't had much luck with the Purple Hurricanes recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

East Hall now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Monroe Area, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. East Hall will face off against rival Cherokee Bluff at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Monroe Area is set to take on their familiar foe Jefferson at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Purple Hurricanes 3.4, the Dragons 0.9) so any runs scored will be well earned.
