Soccer Game Preview: Walnut vs. Bonita

The Walnut Mustangs will take on the Bonita Bearcats at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Walnut is likely headed into the contest with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Ayala on Tuesday. Walnut came up short against Ayala, falling 3-0. The Mustangs' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, for the first time since back in December of 2024, Bonita was forced to settle for a draw on Tuesday. Neither they nor Claremont could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw.

Walnut's loss dropped their record down to 9-5-1. With that draw, Bonita's record moves to 6-8-4.
