Softball Recap: Dalton Takes a Loss

Dalton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Cass Colonels, falling 9-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Colonels this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-1 back in August.

Dalton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Cass, they pushed their record up to 13-4 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Dalton will face off against rival Cartersville at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Cass is set to take on their familiar foe Woodland at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
