Basketball Game Preview: Los Altos Eagles vs. Lynbrook Vikings

The Los Altos Eagles will head out on the road to square off against the Lynbrook Vikings at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

Last Tuesday, Los Altos ended up a good deal behind Los Gatos and lost 61-43. The Eagles have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Lynbrook beat Milpitas 49-45 on Tuesday. Given the Vikings' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 187th, while the Trojans are ranked 595th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The win made it two in a row for Lynbrook and bumps their season record up to 14-5. As for Los Altos, their loss dropped their record down to 6-13.

Los Altos came up short against Lynbrook in their previous matchup on January 10th, falling 39-31. Can Los Altos avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
