Softball Recap: Camden County Takes a Loss

If Camden County was riding high fresh off their 22-0 takedown of Valdosta on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wildcats fell just short of the Toombs County Bulldogs by a score of 5-4 on Wednesday.

Camden County now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Toombs County, their win was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-4.

Looking ahead, Camden County will host Valdosta at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Valdosta has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.57 runs per game on average), something Camden County will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Toombs County, they will head out to face off against Johnson County at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
