Basketball Recap: North East Takes a Loss

North East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a hard 58-39 fall against the Mercyhurst Prep Lakers. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Lakers this season, with their most recent defeat being a 49-23 loss two weeks ago.

North East's defeat dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Mercyhurst Prep, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-9 record this season.

As of now, neither North East nor Mercyhurst Prep have any future games scheduled.
