Volleyball Recap: Nooksack Valley Comes Up Short

After flying high against Anacortes last Thursday, Nooksack Valley came back down to earth. The Pioneers took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sehome Mariners on Tuesday. The Pioneers haven't had much luck with the Mariners recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Nooksack Valley's loss dropped their record down to 10-5-1. As for Sehome, their win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Nooksack Valley is set to take on their familiar foe Sedro-Woolley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Sehome will challenge rival Squalicum at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
