Softball Recap: Guymon Takes a Loss

Guymon suffered their closest loss since September 8th on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Woodward Boomers by a score of 6-4. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Boomers recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Guymon's defeat dropped their record down to 10-18-1. As for Woodward, their win bumped their record up to 11-4-2.

Looking ahead, Guymon is taking a road trip to take on Elk City at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Elks will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Woodward, they have already played their next contest, an 11-0 win against Mount St. Mary on the 1st.
