Recap: Terra Nova Tigers vs. El Camino Colts
On Friday, the Terra Nova Tigers's game was all tied up 16-16 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They came out on top against El Camino by a score of 39-32. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Terra Nova also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2023.
Several Colts players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Basco Chelsea, who scored 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mariah Flores, who scored nine points.
Terra Nova's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-12. As for El Camino, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-10.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Terra Nova will take on Westmoor at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for El Camino, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Sequoia at 6:00 p.m. Sequoia is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last four games.
