Springfield barely beat Poultney the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Cosmos breezed past the Blue Devils to the tune of 43-14 on Friday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Cosmos considering their six-point performance the game before.

Springfield pushed their record up to 4-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 33.5 points over those games. As for Poultney, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Springfield will welcome Woodstock at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Cosmos will need to watch out since the Wasps have now posted at least 31 points in their last four contests. As for Poultney, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Windsor at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
