Volleyball Recap: Riverdale Finds Playoff Glory Versus Rockford Christian

It's playoff time, and Riverdale had no trouble coming through when it counted. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Rockford Christian Royal Lions on Saturday.

Riverdale was led to victory by Kamryn Kruger and Lola Wainwright. Kruger had 24 digs and four assists, while Wainwright had ten digs and three aces. That's the most digs Kruger has posted since back in October. Claire Beeler was another key player, getting six digs and two aces.

Riverdale has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-11-1 record this season. As for Rockford Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 34-7.

As of now, neither Riverdale nor the Royal Lions have any future games scheduled.
