Football Recap: River Hill Takes a Loss

River Hill lost against Glenelg back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Hawks fell 16-7 to the Gladiators.

Among those leading the charge was Russell McIntyre, who rushed for 78 yards and one score. He was even better on defense, picking up a sack and making ten total tackles (2.0 for loss).

River Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Glenelg, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, River Hill will look to defend their home field on Friday against Guilford Park at 6:00 p.m. As for Glenelg, they will head out on the road to challenge Wilde Lake at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
