Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Chardon walked away with it. They walked away with a 5-2 victory over the Wooster Generals on Tuesday. The win was familiar territory for the Hilltoppers, who have now won six contests in a row.

Adam Gable was excellent, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Ty Roediger was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two doubles, one stolen base, and one RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Chardon kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in seven consecutive matchups.

Chardon's victory bumped their record up to 17-12. As for Wooster, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-3.

Chardon does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Wooster, they will face off against Lexington at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
