Hollister has gone 8-2 against Alisal recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Hollister Haybalers will head out to take on the Alisal Trojans at 7:00 p.m. Hollister is coming into the game hot, having won their last seven games.

On Wednesday, Hollister was able to grind out a solid victory over Monterey, taking the game 52-45. Given the Haybalers' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 271st, while the Dores are ranked 786th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Alisal played a tough contest on Wednesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 51-30 to Salinas. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Trojans have suffered since December 12, 2024.

Hollister is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 14 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.6 points per game. As for Alisal, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-8.

Hollister strolled past Alisal when the teams last played back in January by a score of 45-30. The rematch might be a little tougher for Hollister since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
