Sandia not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since October 18, 2024 (when they won 41-7). Everything went their way against the Atrisco Heritage Academy Jaguars as they made off with a 37-13 victory. The Matadors haven't had any issues with the Jaguars recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Atrisco Heritage Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Gianluca Ramirez, who threw for 173 yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 38 yards. Deon Session was another key player, picking up 70 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Sandia's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Atrisco Heritage Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.
