Central Georgia Arts extended their winning streak to four on Saturday, bumping their season record up to 13-10 in the process. They never let the Flint River Academy Wildcats get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory. This was payback for Central Georgia Arts, who suffered a 9-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

Harrison Strange was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

As for Flint River Academy, their defeat ended a nine-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 10-2. They were red-hot at the plate heading into the matchup (they scored no less than ten runs in the four contests prior), but Central Georgia Arts' pitcher proved too tough.

On Flint River Academy's side, Sullivan Jones spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on five hits. Jones has been consistent: he hasn't given up a single earned run in seven consecutive appearances.

Central Georgia Arts didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 7-6 win against Trinity Christian on the 15th. As for Flint River Academy, they have also already played their next match, a 14-10 victory against Harvester Christian Academy on the 14th.
