Soccer Recap: Scripps Ranch's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak at Home

Scripps Ranch entered their matchup against Mission Bay on Wednesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Scripps Ranch Falcons fell 2-0 to the Mission Bay Buccaneers. The contest was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Falcons couldn't quite close it out.

Scripps Ranch's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-3-4. As for Mission Bay, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-1-1.

Scripps Ranch wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 2-1 win against San Diego on the 31st. As for Mission Bay, they will host Point Loma at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Mission Bay's defense has only allowed 0.1 goals per game this season, so Point Loma's offense will have their work cut out for them.
