Football Recap: Preble Shawnee Falls Short of Indian Lake in the Playoffs + How To Watch

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Preble Shawnee couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell just short of the Indian Lake Lakers by a score of 17-14 on Friday. The Arrows were not able to make up for their defeat to the Lakers from their previous meeting back in November of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Preble Shawnee lost, don't look at Brody Morton. Despite the final result, he rushed for 74 yards and one TD, and also threw for 112 yards and one touchdown.

Brady Golliday produced another solid effort throwing for 154 yards and a pair of touchdowns, while also rushing for 65 yards for Indian Lake. A healthy portion of Golliday's aerial production (87 yards to be exact) went to Brodey Reisinger, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

Preble Shawnee's loss dropped their record down to 10-2. As for Indian Lake, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-2.

Preble Shawnee does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Indian Lake, they will host Mariemont at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
