St. Thomas Aquinas lost against Paramus Catholic back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Trojans had to suffer through a 42-14 loss at the hands of the Paladins. The Trojans' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Paramus Catholic's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Achylles Dupont, who rushed for 96 yards and two scores on only ten carries, and also caught one TD. Another player making a difference was Rowan Martin, who rushed for 64 yards and one touchdown.

St. Thomas Aquinas' loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Paramus Catholic, they moved to 2-4 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Looking ahead, St. Thomas Aquinas will head out to face off against Edison at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last. As for Paramus Catholic, they will be playing at home against Bergen Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Crusaders' defense has only allowed 12.6 points per game this season, so the Paladins' offense will have their work cut out for them.
