Recap: San Pasqual Valley Warriors vs. Antelope Rams
The San Pasqual Valley Warriors posted their biggest victory yet this season on Friday. They blew past Antelope, posting a 41-9 win on the road. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win San Pasqual Valley has posted against Antelope since December 11, 2018.
San Pasqual Valley got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Daeja Villicana out in front who scored seven points along with seven rebounds and four steals. Villicana is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as she's now posted two or more in the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kali Cortez, who scored eight points.
San Pasqual Valley pushed their record up to 10-8 with that win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Antelope, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-10.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. San Pasqual Valley will square off against Gila Ridge at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Gila Ridge's defense has only allowed 29.2 points per game this season, so San Pasqual Valley's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Antelope, they will head out on the road to square off against Anthem Prep at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
