Basketball Recap: Making Waves Academy Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Making Waves Academy had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They were dealt a 53-7 defeat at the hands of the Redwood Christian Eagles on Tuesday. The Marlins were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February.

Redwood Christian can attribute much of their success to Lilliana Faumuina, who posted 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Melody Chock, who earned eight points.

Looking ahead, Making Waves Academy will take on Elite at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Redwood Christian, they will face off against International at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
