Softball Recap: WACO Takes a Loss

WACO was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They lost 12-1 to the Lone Tree Lions. Unfortunately, that's the first time they've come up short against the Lions this season, with their most recent defeat being a 22-4 loss on Monday.

WACO's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Lone Tree, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.

Lone Tree wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 7-5 victory against Highland on the 24th. Hopefully WACO paid attention to the Lions' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Lions.
