Basketball Recap: Washington Falls Short of Lowell in the Playoffs

Washington and Lowell squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Washington had to settle for second. They received a blow as they fell 45-27 to the Lowell Cardinals. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Cardinals recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Washington's loss dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Lowell, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 18-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Washington nor Lowell have any future games scheduled.
