Arroyo is on a six-game streak of home losses, Mt. Eden a six-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change. The Arroyo Dons will take on the Mt. Eden Monarchs at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
On Wednesday, Arroyo came up short against Berkeley and fell 52-41. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Arroyo in their matchups with Berkeley: they've now lost five in a row.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Jordyn Walker, who scored no points along with ten rebounds and six steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last four games she's played.
Meanwhile, things could have been worse for Mt. Eden, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 51-34 loss to Hayward on Wednesday.
Arroyo's loss dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Mt. Eden, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season.
