Soccer Recap: Torrance Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Redondo Union, Torrance was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Mira Costa Mustangs, sneaking past 2-1. This was payback for the Tartars, who suffered a 3-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

Torrance's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-7. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored eight goals over those three matchups. As for Mira Costa, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-6-4 record this season.
