Thoreau is 8-2 against Crownpoint since March of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Hawks will venture away from home to challenge the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. Crownpoint took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Thoreau, who comes in off a win.

Crownpoint will be up against a hot Thoreau squad: the team just extended their winning streak to three. The Hawks put the hurt on Wingate with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday.

Thoreau walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-15, 25-20.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Eagles on Tuesday. Crownpoint fell 3-1 to Navajo Prep.

The final score came out to 25-19, 15-25, 25-16, 25-15.

Thoreau's win bumped their record up to 10-12-1. As for Crownpoint, their defeat ended a four-match streak of away wins and brought them to 15-6.

Thoreau came up short against Crownpoint in their previous meeting back in October, falling 3-1. Can the Hawks avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
