Recap: High Point Baptist Academy Eagles vs. Coventry Christian
The High Point Baptist Academy Eagles can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent game on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 44-22 margin over Coventry Christian. The win was just what High Point Baptist Academy needed coming off of a 59-23 loss in their prior match.
Despite the loss, Coventry Christian saw an underclassman step up: Caitlin Cianci scored 19 points along with six steals and five rebounds. Cianci is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last seven games she's played.
High Point Baptist Academy has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. As for Coventry Christian, they dropped their record down to 4-12 with that loss, which was their third straight at home.
High Point Baptist Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Coventry Christian, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 50-28 loss vs. Bethlehem Christian on the 9th.
