Baseball Recap: Trinity Christian Gets the Win

Trinity Christian proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by six) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Tallulah Falls Indians 12-10. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Crusaders have posted since March 31st.

Trinity Christian is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.2 runs over those games. As for Tallulah Falls, they moved to 12-14 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Trinity Christian will face off against Piedmont Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Tallulah Falls, they will venture away from home to square off against West-Oak at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
