Buena Vista gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They blew past the Salida Spartans, posting a 50-7 victory. The win continues a trend for the Demons in their matchups with the Spartans: they've now won six in a row.

Leading Buena Vista to victory were Casen Pridemore and Hudson Wingo. Pridemore gained 103 total yards and two touchdowns, while Wingo threw for 114 yards and a pair of TDs. Knox Reid got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
