Softball Recap: Thompson Valley Eagles vs. Severance Silver Knights

Thompson Valley had lost seven straight at home dating back to last season, but on Thursday they dropped down to 3-7 to make it eight. They came up short against the Severance Silver Knights, falling 21-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 15-3 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

As for Severance, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-3-1. The result was nothing new for the Silver Knights, who have now won eight games by eight runs or more so far this season.

Looking ahead, Thompson Valley will square off against Weld Central at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Severance, they will venture away from home to challenge Berthoud at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
