Softball Recap: Johns Creek Comes Up Short

Johns Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 6-3 to the Social Circle Redskins.

Zelda Arthur made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one double. That triple was her first of the season.

Johns Creek's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Social Circle, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-1.

Coming up, Johns Creek will take on Monroe Area in a tournament on Saturday. As for Social Circle, they will head out to square off against Mount Vernon at 5:45 p.m. on Monday.
