Lumpkin County had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Greater Atlanta Christian Spartans with a sharp 11-3 win. Considering the Indians have won three matchups by more than seven runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Lumpkin County's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Greater Atlanta Christian, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Lumpkin County beat the Spartans by a score of 13-2 later that day.
