Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Immanuel walked away with it. They put the hurt on the Santa Ynez Pirates with a sharp 58-36 victory on Friday. The win was familiar territory for the Eagles, who have now won 15 matchups in a row.

Leading Immanuel to victory were Kiera Thomas and Jenna Goertzen. Thomas posted 16 points and six steals, while Goertzen had 16 points and four steals. Thomas' big performance that afternoon made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least 15 points. Ainsley Jackson was another key player, putting up eight points and three steals.

Immanuel's victory bumped their record up to 27-5. As for Santa Ynez, their loss dropped their record down to 17-11.
