Baseball Recap: New Hampstead Comes Up Short

New Hampstead fell victim to Ware County and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Ware County Gators, falling 15-0. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Phoenix were not able to get on the board.

This is the second loss in a row for New Hampstead and nudges their season record down to 5-2. As for Ware County, they pushed their record up to 12-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

While New Hampstead had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
