Baseball Recap: Hershey Trojans vs. Carlisle Bison
Hershey lost to Carlisle back in April, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Trojans walked away with a 5-1 victory over the Bison. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Trojans.
Colton Fultz spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on four hits and racked up ten Ks. Hershey is 3-1 when Fultz posts eight or more strikeouts, but 2-11 otherwise.

At the plate, Blake Umberger was incredible, firing off two home runs and five RBI while going 2-for-3. Those five RBI gave him a new career-high. Grant Later was another key player, getting on base in two of his three plate appearances with two runs.
Hershey hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Carlisle struck out ten times.
Hershey's win bumped their record up to 5-12. As for Carlisle, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-12.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hershey will take on Bishop McDevitt at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Carlisle, they will face off against Central Dauphin East at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Panthers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 6.88 runs per game on average), something the Bison will no doubt try to take advantage of.
