Recap: Nogales Nobles vs. Azusa Aztecs

The Nogales Nobles won the last time they faced the Azusa Aztecs, and things went their way on Wednesday too. Nogales enjoyed a cozy 41-23 win over Azusa.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Nogales to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jordin Glass, who scored 13 points. Another player making a difference was Ariana Martinez, who scored 11 points.

Azusa's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Lilliana Maldonado, who scored nine points along with five rebounds and two steals, and Ruby Untoria who scored four points along with seven rebounds.

Nogales is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 7-11 record this season. As for Azusa, they dropped their record down to 8-13 with that loss, which was their sixth straight at home.

Workman has now lost eight straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 18. As for Azusa, they will head out on the road to take on Duarte at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
