Baseball Game Preview: The Habersham School Patriots vs. Hilton Head Prep Dolphins

The Habersham School Patriots are taking a road trip to challenge the Hilton Head Prep Dolphins at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.

The Habersham School managed to slip by Coastal HomeSchool the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Habersham School came up short against Coastal HomeSchool on Tuesday, falling 10-0. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Hilton Head Prep entered their tilt with Colleton Prep Academy on Wednesday with 12 consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with 13. They were the clear victors by a 15-4 margin over the War Hawks. The Dolphins might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten contests by nine runs or more this season.

Hilton Head Prep's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-1. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for The Habersham School, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.

The Habersham School might still be hurting after the 10-0 defeat they got from Hilton Head Prep in their previous meeting back in March of 2024. Can The Habersham School avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
