Baseball Recap: Philo Comes Up Short

Philo and Edison squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Philo had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 6-5.

Philo's defeat dropped their record down to 16-11-1. As for Edison, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-6-1 record this season.

The teams wasted no time getting back out on the field as they've already faced off again: they played to a 5-5 tie later that day.
