Softball Recap: Collinsville Takes a Loss

Collinsville fell victim to Coweta and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers. The defeat continues a trend for the Cardinals in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost six in a row.

Collinsville's loss dropped their record down to 8-20. As for Coweta, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 17-17.

Collinsville wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 14-1 victory against Del City on the 8th. Hopefully Coweta paid attention to the Cardinals' game: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Cardinals on Thursday.
