Basketball Recap: Kerman's Loss Ends Seven-Game Winning Streak at Home

Kerman suffered their biggest defeat since November 30, 2024 on Tuesday. They lost 51-29 to the Immanuel Eagles. The loss continues a trend for the Lions in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now lost three in a row.

Immanuel's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kiera Thomas, who posted ten points and four steals. Thomas is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Ainsley Jackson, who went 5 for 8 en route to 11 points and three steals.

Kerman's defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-6. As for Immanuel, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.

Kerman wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 60-14 loss against Sierra Pacific on the 23rd. Immanuel has also already played their next contest, a 68-16 win against Reedley on the 23rd.
