Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Whitewater). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Sandy Creek Patriots a 17-0 shutout on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Patriots: they've now won seven in a row.

Whitewater's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Sandy Creek, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.
