The scorekeeper got an easy start on Thursday as neither Kiefer nor Glenpool made it on the board until the seventh inning. The Trojans skirted past the Warriors 4-2. The win continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won five in a row.

Caley Smith spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on five hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 13 consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Kiefer let Maleigha Presley and Kynlee DiLibero run wild. Presley went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI, while DiLibero went 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Triniti Roskydoll, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Kiefer's victory bumped their record up to 26-5. As for Glenpool, the defeat snapped their winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 15-10 record.

Looking ahead, Kiefer will face off against Beggs at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Glenpool, they will square off against Sapulpa at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
