Soccer Recap: Coronado Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Coronado's offense. They came up short against the Patrick Henry Patriots on Friday, falling 3-0. While losing is never fun, the Islanders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 428th, while the Patriots are ranked 63rd).

Coronado has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-11-2 record this season. As for Patrick Henry, their victory bumped their record up to 10-8-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Coronado will host Academy of Our Lady of Peace at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Patrick Henry, they will be playing at home against La Jolla at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
