Softball Recap: Harris-Lake Park Takes a Loss

Harris-Lake Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 6-4 heartbreaker at the hands of the Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire Titans. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Wolves have suffered since June 26, 2024.

Harris-Lake Park's defeat dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Harris-Lake Park will venture away from home to square off against Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Hawks have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.92 runs per game on average), something the Wolves will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire, they will head out on the road to challenge Southeast Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
